It is nice of the builder to give such overt clues to the provenance of a building, makes any research that bit easier.
Once a warehouse, this building is now home to the Maryborough Military & Colonial Museum.

Another building of interest in most towns is the post office, once a centre of importance, not so much today, but their legacy remains. Built in 1876, this one also housed the court before a separate building was established later. An impressive Italianate palazzo style design by the important Public Works Department architect JH Marsden.
